Senior Dog Saved From Breeding Horror Surprises Shelter Staff with Tattoo

Rescue Shelter Discovers French Bulldog with Breeding Horror Markings on Belly

The heartbreaking story of Quinn, a senior French bulldog rescued from a breeding horror, has captured the hearts of viewers on TikTok. The 10-year-old dog was brought to a local emergency vet in Fresno, California, by an anonymous person before being taken in by Valley Animal Center.

Quinn’s rough condition, with scabs covering her back and neck, and a defeated look in her eyes, revealed the pain she had endured as a breeding dog. The shelter discovered an identifying tattoo on her belly, indicating she had likely been used for multiple litters.

Despite her traumatic past, Quinn is slowly starting to trust humans at the shelter. She is receiving treatment for her skin issues and is on pain medication and antibiotics. The shelter emphasized that they are not currently looking for an adopter for Quinn, as she is still healing and needs time to recover.

French bulldogs like Quinn are known for their health problems, especially when bred in extreme conditions. Despite these challenges, Frenchies remain one of the most popular dog breeds in the United States.

Viewers on TikTok were moved by Quinn’s story, with many expressing their hope that she finds a loving forever home. The video of Quinn had over 171,900 views, 21,900 likes, and 2,098 comments, showing the outpouring of support for this resilient dog.
