From IT to Pet Care: Denise McGough’s Journey to Fetch Me Later Pet Resort
Denise McGough’s career took a furry turn in 2023 when she traded in her finance and IT background to become the proud owner of Fetch Me Later Pet Resort. What started as a dream to pursue a pet resort business quickly became a reality when she found the perfect match in Woodland Park Pet Resort, whose owner was looking to sell.
With a passion for providing top-notch care for dogs, McGough wanted the name of her pet resort to reflect the fun and loving environment she aimed to create. After some brainstorming, the name “Fetch Me Later” came to her in a moment of inspiration during a social media class at Collin College.
At Fetch Me Later Pet Resort, every dog is treated with the utmost care and attention to ensure they feel comfortable and loved. Each staff member goes above and beyond to cater to the unique needs of every furry guest, even taking dogs home if they require special attention.
In addition to boarding, day care, and grooming services, Fetch Me Later Pet Resort is introducing a new service called Dog of Honor, catering to couples who want their beloved pets to be a part of their wedding day. This service ensures that dogs are well taken care of before, during, and after the ceremony.
McGough’s dedication to providing a personalized and loving experience for every dog that walks through the doors of Fetch Me Later Pet Resort is evident in her commitment to treating each furry friend as if they were her own. As she aptly puts it, “Every dog we admit into the facility has a different personality … Every dog has a different experience here because every dog needs a different experience.”
