Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation Receives $75,000 Grant Investment from Petco Love

The Los Angeles County Animal Care Foundation is receiving a significant boost in funding with a $75,000 grant investment from Petco Love, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting pets and their families. This grant will help the foundation continue its lifesaving work for animals in Los Angeles County.

Petco Love has a long history of investing in adoption and other lifesaving efforts, with nearly $400 million contributed since its founding in 1999. The partnership between Petco Love and the ACF aims to find loving homes for pets and support animal welfare programs in the community.

The ACF, a nonprofit organization that supports the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control, is grateful for the support from Petco Love. This grant will enable them to provide essential services to keep pets and families together, find new homes for pets, and enhance the care of animals in the county.

Marcia Mayeda, Director of Los Angeles County’s Department of Animal Care and Control, expressed gratitude for Petco Love’s ongoing support and emphasized the importance of providing resources to pet families in the area. Renee Sikand, President of the ACF, highlighted the foundation’s mission to support DACC’s efforts in caring for vulnerable animals in the community.
