With 50% of respondents believing that pet food should be held to the same quality standards as human food, the demand for transparency in the industry is clear.

Bella and Duke is leading the charge for clearer labelling in pet food products, advocating for pet owners to have access to accurate information to make informed decisions about their pets’ nutrition. The company is also promoting certifications like RawSAFE and those from UK Pet Food, which establish rigorous standards for raw meat-based diets for pets.

By choosing products with the RawSAFE label, pet owners can be confident that they are providing their pets with safe and high-quality nutrition. Bella and Duke are calling for these standards to be adopted industry-wide, regardless of the type of pet food being manufactured.

In addition to advocating for transparency in pet food labels, Bella and Duke is empowering pet owners with knowledge about what is best for their pets. The company’s Health and Happiness survey revealed the positive impact of a raw diet on pets, with benefits including weight management, improved coat health, and reduced allergies.
